Staff Sgt. Wade Edward Spradlin, USMC
Wade Spradlin is a Military Motion Media student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
In May of 2000, Spradlin graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. After completing recruit training he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif., as a Combat Engineer. After completing his first enlistment in 2004, he was sent to Marine Corps Base, Hawaii, to work outside of his engineering background as a combat videographer. Shortly after arriving in Hawaii he left for Fort Meade, Md., to attend the Basic Video Production and Documentation Course and officially became a Combat Cameraman. In 2006, he was assigned to Marine Corp Air Station, Beaufort, S.C., where he held the billets of Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and Operation Chief.
Spradlin’s interests include spending time with his wife, Wendy, and his two children, Maddison and Kayden.
Wade was born and raised in Baltimore, Md.
