Frank Currier is Professor of Practice, Broadcast Journalism; B.J., M.A. University of Missouri School of Journalism. Before joining the Newhouse faculty, 30 years of experience in broadcast journalism, 17 years as Midwest-based network correspondent for CBS News. Reported national stories and Eye on America Segments for the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. Three-time national Emmy winner for hurricane coverage on CBS Newsmagazine 48 Hours. Reporter/Anchor for KUSA-TV (8 years) in Denver and WBBM-TV (3 years) in Chicago. Commanded a public information detachment as a U.S. Army officer in Vietnam. Professor Currier has two years experience teaching MMM (Military Motion Media) government students Broadcast News Reporting.
