Brittany Barker is a Military Photojournalism student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Barker has been a photographer in the United States Air Force since 2006. She was previously stationed at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., where she was mentored by Master Sgt. Jeffrey Allen who helped her gain entrance into the Military Photojournalism program at Syracuse University.

Upon graduation, Barker and her three-year-old daughter, Lilly, will be going to the 2nd Combat Camera Unit at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
