About

The Healthcare reform bill President Obama signed into law March 23rd, 2010 is the most sweeping piece of social legislation enacted in the United States since the 1940s. In the Fall of 2009, our class began discussing the topic for this year’s projects ... healthcare was an obvious choice.

From regular check-ups to life threatening diseases, like AIDS and cancer, there is no other aspect of life that affects Americans more universally than healthcare.

The stories included on this website focus on healthcare activities in Central New York, ranging from physicians to patients and many points between. Each of the students involved in these projects have devoted countless hours to them, and could not be more excited to share these stories. Enjoy.
